Data science startup Pachyderm, which just raised $16 million, says remote work has been ‘a massive benefit’ to its business
Pachyderm is big data using Docker containers allowing data scientists to use the tools they already know and love on an unified infrastructure, including deploying and managing multi-stage, language-agnostic data pipelines, while maintaining complete data lineage, reproducibility, and provenance. Pachyderm believes this is the future of how individuals and teams will develop, deploy, collaborate on and communicate about all things data.
Soma invested in the seed stage. Pachyderm's recent round was led by Benchmark. Soma has leveraged Tibco Software big data expertise to help the team with technology development and growth.
