Clutter has picked up Omni’s storage business; Omni to focus on rentals
On demand storage service for physical belongings. Omni is on-demand storage. It is finding a solution for the problem of shrinking apartments and rising rent in urban areas by allowing a customer to get things picked up from his or her place in as little as two hours, pay a monthly fee to store them depending on storage size, and get them temporarily returned for free whenever needed. Soma helped get influential users on Omni like Drake the rapper, who we also brought on as an investor in the company.
Soma invested in the seed stage. Omni has gone on to raise funding from prominent investors such as 8VC (Joe Lonsdale) and Highland Capital at a $110M Series B post-money valuation. Omni’s storage business was acquired by Clutter in 2019.
